David Fiorucci has thirty years’ experience of leading teams, both in SMEs and in large Swiss and international companies. He developed the LP3 approach and, in 2016, founded his company, LP3 AG, based in Switzerland and active internationally with licensed trainers all over the world.
He directs the EMBA leadership program – Digital Leadership program at HWZ, Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration. He is a member of the Advisory Board of ASFC, the Swiss Association for Executive Education as well as a member of the consultative committee (Beirat) of the Swiss Management Training Association (Schweizerische Vereinigung für Führungsausbildung).
Before founding LP3 AG, David held pivotal senior management roles at The Swiss Life Group, where he was the driving force behind the company’s digital transformation as Head of Learning & Development. He also spearheaded Corporate Training and e-learning at Swiss Post, setting new standards for employee development. Earlier in his career, David’s innovative work in the R&D lab at Câbles Cortaillod (Alcatel, now Nexans) laid the groundwork for cutting-edge advancements in the industry.
Initially, David pursued physics at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). However, his interests soon shifted, leading him to study chemical engineering at the Ecole d’Ingénieurs in Fribourg. This pivotal decision paved the way for significant achievements, including securing a PATENT for conductive polymers with Monsanto.
David’s early career was marked by innovation at Câblerie de Cortaillod. His dedication to research and development there earned him a European patent and led to opportunities to lecture and appear in media. Driven by a desire for continuous learning and making a substantial impact, he expanded his expertise through further education. David delved into environmental management, adult education, quality systems, strategic management, and ethics, broadening his knowledge and influence in various fields.
David has earned recognition for his significant contributions to leadership and innovation with development and implementation of Octocracy, a concept promoting distributed leadership and agile organizational structures. This innovative approach distributes power throughout the organization while maintaining essential leadership, integrating aspects of holacracy but with a more balanced approach.
